And, there has been a shortage of news regarding this unit -- Col. Wuestner has emailed home with the activites and accomplishment of the unit. We (Elks Lodge) recently mailed a large assortment of Christmas gifts to the 11th along with 36 Soccer Balls to be handed out to the Kids of Iraq. I was hoping that you might be able to follow up and perhaps let me know the reaction of the Kids to the soccer balls. The 'guys' of the 11th promised to send photos, but I thought this might be a great story for the News-Miner. I am compiling a scrapbook for the Family Resource Group (FRG) with monthly photos of their meetings and activities starting with the 'Appreciation Day" (June--Ft Wainwright) where I met Col. Wuestner and my other contacts for the partnership. I am keeping all the articles you submit to be included in this record. And, now that I have finally made the effort to go to your blog I have discovered many excellent photos and articles. Keep up the good work, I envy your work asignment -- it is something that I would truly enjoy doing.
